Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to manage and uphold the cleanliness and organization of a residence in Atherton, CA. The Housekeeper will oversee daily housekeeping operations, maintain high-end surfaces and luxury items, and coordinate with household staff to ensure a pristine and well-maintained environment. This role is ideal for a professional with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Organize and schedule tasks for the housekeeping team, collaborating closely with the Estate Manager to ensure timely and thorough completion of all cleaning responsibilities.
  • Vendor and Project Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors for specialized services, oversee deep cleaning projects, and track maintenance schedules.
  • Checklist & Equipment Oversight: Create and manage comprehensive cleaning checklists, ensure maintenance of cleaning tools, and arrange repairs or servicing for housekeeping equipment.

Hands-On Duties

  • High-Quality Cleaning: Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including care of fine furnishings, art, and delicate surfaces, using specialized techniques as needed.
  • Laundry and Fabric Care: Handle all aspects of laundry, including washing, steaming, ironing, and organizing high-end linens and garments, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • General Housekeeping: Perform daily cleaning tasks across designated indoor and outdoor areas, maintaining all spaces to the highest standards.

Typical Routine: Begin by coordinating the day’s schedule with the housekeeping team, inspecting assigned areas for cleanliness, and reporting any necessary repairs to Management. You’ll oversee or perform specific cleaning tasks, handle laundry, and inspect linens to ensure quality. Regularly check in with vendors for scheduled services and attend to any urgent requests from the family as they arise.

Qualifications
