Overview
We are looking for a creative and accomplished Executive Chef to lead culinary services in a residence in Atherton, CA. The Chef will oversee meal planning, handle kitchen management, and collaborate with household staff to deliver unique and refined dining experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Creation & Culinary Planning: Design personalized, seasonally focused menus that align with specific dietary needs and nutritional preferences.
  • Kitchen Management: Lead all kitchen operations, including budgeting, sourcing premium ingredients, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of fresh, quality ingredients.
  • Meal Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, upholding high standards in quality, flavor, and presentation.
  • Event Support: Work closely with household staff to organize and execute the culinary aspects of family events and gatherings.
  • Sanitation & Upkeep: Keep the kitchen in a pristine state, ensuring all equipment is regularly cleaned, organized, and maintained in optimal condition.

Typical Routine: Begin your day by liaising with suppliers to secure fresh, high-quality ingredients, followed by a walkthrough of the property to assess inventory and identify any kitchen needs. You’ll plan and refine menus for the week, ensuring they align with seasonal availability and dietary preferences. Throughout the day, you’ll focus on preparing meals for family members and guests, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and handling any last-minute requests or adjustments as they arise.
